About the Role
~1 min readAs the client's primary representative in Canada, you will provide local leadership and project presence while drawing on their US-based engineering, production, and project coordination teams. You will carry projects from early design support, through manufacturing alignment, into active installation and commissioning at military aviation sites across the country. Your involvement deepens through the project lifecycle, peaking during installation when you support supervisors, contractors, consultants, and clients in the field. You start as a team of one, with the runway to grow the Canadian program and lead the people added beneath you. Reports to the VP of Operations.
Key responsibilities:
• Serve as the client's primary project representative across Canada, coordinating execution between clients, contractors, installation teams, and the US-based engineering and production groups
• Build and maintain strong relationships with military stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and airport authorities
• Conduct regular site visits and project reviews, and support installation supervisors and subcontractors during active construction
• Keep project schedules aligned with manufacturing and delivery timelines, and resolve field issues before they impact cost or schedule
• Support milestone billing and documentation, and feed lessons learned back to the engineering and production teams
Requirements
~1 min read• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years managing construction, infrastructure, aviation, defence, industrial, or military projects
• Hands-on field experience with contractors and consultants, including construction sequencing and installation management
• Comfortable operating independently without a local support team, with a strong ownership and critical-thinking mindset
• Able to manage multiple projects across large regions and travel extensively across Canada
• Confident relationship builder who can partner with general contractors while holding firm on technical and contractual requirements
Nice to Have

• Bilingual English / French (helpful for Quebec projects)
• Familiarity with government, defence, or military project environments
• Based near a major aviation or military hub (Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa area preferred, though strong candidates anywhere in Canada will be considered)
