~2 min readWe are seeking a highly analytical Performance Marketing Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale paid advertising campaigns across Meta and Google for a growing ecommerce, education, and live events business.
This role is responsible for planning, launching, optimizing, and reporting on paid media campaigns while collaborating closely with marketing, ecommerce, and creative teams to drive customer acquisition, lead generation, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong media buying expertise with a data-driven mindset and understands how creative, landing pages, customer journeys, and campaign strategy work together to improve performance. Beyond campaign execution, they continuously test, analyze, and refine advertising initiatives to maximize return on ad spend and overall business impact.
Success in this role requires someone who takes ownership of campaign performance, proactively identifies growth opportunities, and uses structured testing and analytics to continuously improve results.
This is not simply a campaign execution role. We're looking for someone who understands performance marketing as a growth function and enjoys using data to make better marketing decisions.
Experience using attribution and reporting platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or Looker Studio
Experience working with Klaviyo or other ecommerce email marketing platforms
Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or Google Analytics certifications
Experience managing six-figure monthly advertising budgets
Responsibilities
~1 min readBuild, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta and Google Ads
Develop campaign structures aligned with marketing objectives and customer acquisition goals
Manage budgets, bidding strategies, audience targeting, placements, and campaign pacing
Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining target ROAS, CPA, and customer acquisition efficiency
Coordinate campaign execution around product launches, promotions, events, and seasonal initiatives
Continuously monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
Conduct structured testing across audiences, creatives, placements, bidding strategies, and landing pages
Optimize campaign performance based on key performance indicators and business objectives
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, lead quality, and advertising efficiency
Document testing results and recommend future optimization strategies
Monitor campaign KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CAC, CTR, CPC, CPM, MER, and conversion rate
Prepare recurring performance reports and communicate insights to leadership
Translate campaign data into actionable recommendations for marketing and business growth
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using advertising and ecommerce performance data
Monitor conversion tracking and campaign attribution accuracy
Review campaign data using Google Analytics 4 and advertising platform reporting
Support troubleshooting of tracking issues when required
Maintain campaign documentation, naming conventions, and reporting dashboards
Collaborate with the Marketing Operations Specialist on campaign calendars and promotional schedules
Work closely with the Multimedia Designer to develop new creative concepts and advertising assets
Coordinate with the Ecommerce Operations Specialist to align campaigns with product availability, promotions, and website updates
Provide creative performance feedback to improve future advertising assets
Share campaign insights and testing learnings with the broader team
Requirements
~1 min read3+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta and Google Ads campaigns for ecommerce businesses or performance marketing agencies
Experience managing paid advertising campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
Experience supporting Shopify or other DTC ecommerce businesses
Strong understanding of ecommerce performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, CAC, CTR, CPC, CPM, MER, and conversion rate
Experience developing and executing structured campaign optimization and creative testing frameworks
Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to evaluate campaign performance
Experience coordinating paid media initiatives with marketing, ecommerce, and creative teams
Experience using Google Tag Manager or supporting conversion tracking implementation
Experience working within fast-growing founder-led ecommerce businesses
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to manage multiple campaigns while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take ownership of campaign performance
