Orchestrating work and offering technical direction and mentorship to specialists and technicians, you’ll coordinate and perform more complex cross functional tasks in support of the operations/manufacturing organization. You’ll lead the development of more complex manufacturing and operations plans and schedule and facilitate assigned projects. As the Advanced Manufacturing Operations Specialist, we’ll expect you to effectively communicate with engineering departments, quality control, manufacturing, purchasing or other groups as required in order to complete project plans.

What you’ll experience:
Managing repair, manufacturing, depot, sustainment, or technical operations performance, including schedule adherence, turnaround time, backlog, and aging work.
Leading cross-functional teams and resolving operational constraints involving engineering, quality, material, test, production, and documentation.
Developing, maintaining, or improving operational documentation, work instructions, standardized processes, or corrective actions.
Identifying improvement opportunities and driving actions that improve throughput, reduce cycle time, and maintain quality and compliance.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Proficient originality and application of standard engineering principles and methods in completing technical assignments
Proficient mechanical or electrical aptitude
Ability to manage schedules, priorities, risks, action items, and customer commitments in a fast-paced technical environment.
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and data-driven problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate concise program status and recovery plans.

Target salary range: USD $95,669.00/Yr. - USD $103,516.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
