Responsibilities

  • →Responsible for supporting in all aspects of engineering design from concept planning to completion for designated projects, specific to the discipline of mechanical engineering.
  • →Review development of design for compliance with engineering standards, practices, and codes.
  • →Realize product designs through translation of requirements and design specifications, coordinating with across departments to ensure project scope is met.
  • →Support all phases of engineering testing responsibilities and deliverables.
  • →Prepare and present technical presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • →Perform field inspections as needed.
  • →Provide mentoring to team members as needed.
  • →Stay current on engineering developments, technology, materials, trends, and regulations.
  • →Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology
  • Previous experience in analyzing, designing, and planning mechanical engineering systems in commercial buildings.
  • Proficient in preparing technical documents utilizing discipline specific software (i.e., Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, ROHR2).
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and effectively work and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of design and construction specifications
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills; able to analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation to conduct client site visits.
