Develop the Java Backend part of the Webtoon services
Participating in code reviews and architecture design
Proactive, can-do attitude and strong commitment

5+ years of work experience on Backend systems with Java applications to serve large-scale and high-traffic projects.
Have +3 years of experience in Java Spring-Framework
Experience or strong knowledge of MSA and k8s
Experience or strong knowledge of one of the databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, ...
Have experience in a message queue like Kafka
Understanding & experience in Data structure, Algorithm, Distributed Service, OOP
Open-minded, honest, and have a positive attitude towards people
Good at communication skills in general and English skills in particular

Nice to Have

Have experience in DevOps and CI/CD
Have experience in ELK-stack
Have experience with distributed systems (e.g., HBase, Vitese, etc.)
Have experience in Server Architecture Design for handling massive traffic
Proficiency in the Korean language is preferred
