We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to drive the end‑to‑end release lifecycle across multiple products and environments. The role requires strong coordination across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams, ensuring predictable, high‑quality releases. In addition, the candidate should have worked in driving QA processes and test automation, enabling them to effectively drive release quality and readiness.

8–12+ years of experience in Release Management / Build & Release Engineering / DevOps
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
Expertise in Git, branching strategies, trunk-based development, and version control
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices-based architecture
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) – preferred
Understanding of modern deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, progressive delivery)
Strong understanding of release governance, artifact management, and multi-environment deployments
Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and integration into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
Exposure to observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) – good to have
Knowledge of QA processes, STLC, and shift-left testing practices
Experience in managing multiple concurrent releases and high-volume release requests
Ability to design and implement scalable release processes across teams
Prior experience in product-based companies handling release deployments
Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum and DevOps methodologies
Experience with release governance, change management, and CI/CD best practices
Ability to define and standardize release processes across multiple products
Proven experience in managing weekly release cycles and release calendars
Familiarity with tools like Jira / Azure Boards
Ability to drive automation-first and continuous delivery culture
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management (internal & external)
Ability to manage multiple releases in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to manage release expectations, risks, and timelines
High-quality, on-time releases with minimal rollback incidents
Reduced production defects and lower change failure rate
Improved deployment stability, automation, and release predictability

Process & Functional Skills
