Our Maintenance Technician supports the property team to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high quality. This role involves visiting our nurseries to assist with repairs, scheduled works (including Health & Safety issues) and providing support to the Maintenance Team and other nursery team members.

What you’ll be doing…

Be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and legal requirements
Travel to our various nursery sites to carry out routine maintenance visits & work to a planned monthly visit schedule
Strong Communication with our nursery teams regularly
Be responsible for building-related procurement
Respond to emergency call-outs within 24 hours
Work a flexible shift pattern, including some evening and weekend work
Managing Maintenance expenses
You will be expected to work and stay away on occasion if required

You should have…

Experience in the property and construction industry
Experience in plumbing, electrical and joinery work is essential
A qualification in plumbing or electrics is preferable
Competency in basic building repairs
Ability to use tools and operate equipment
Must have a full clean driving licence (Expenses will be reimbursed)
