Northrop Grumman is seeking Mechanical Engineer Intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Space sector in Redondo Beach, CA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Integration, Test, & Launch (IT&L) Team.

Responsibilities

→Design and modeling in 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software
→Drafting using Y14.5 GD&T
→End-user support during integration operations
→Develop conceptual design
→Requirements definition
→Develop and present design reviews
→Perform first order structural analysis of isotropic materials

Requirements

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
ASME Y14.5 experience
First order structural analysis experience

Bachelor’s: $21.50 to $39.00 per hour

Master’s: $30.50 to $48.00 per hour

At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
