Maintenance Technician

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across campus facilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems) 

• Maintain interior and exterior spaces, including restrooms, flooring, painting, and grounds 

• Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles (e.g., mowers, tractors, power tools) 

• Support landscaping, snow removal, and overall campus appearance 

• Respond to and complete work orders, preventative maintenance, and urgent repair needs 

• Assist with facility operations such as room setups, building access, and material handling 

• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards 

• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend maintenance support 

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment 

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities 

• →

  2+ years of maintenance and repair experience; High school diploma or GED required 

• →

  Valid driver’s license required 

• →

  Basic carpentry, construction, and general maintenance knowledge 

• →

  Experience with HVAC, boilers, generators, and/or plumbing systems 

• →

  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

• →

  Ability to use work order systems and basic computer programs 

• →

  Solid time management and communication skills 

• →

  Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively 

• →

  Skilled in diagnosing and resolving routine maintenance issues 

• →

  Ability to collaborate with and coordinate outside contractors 

• →

  Certifications preferred in HVAC, boilers, plumbing, or related fields
