Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of  mileage, fuel, and deliveries.
  • Report vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
  • Load and unload products when required.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service.

Requirements

  • Previous driving experience is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry items if the role involves deliveries.

  • Must be able to lift no more than 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass fingerprint and background check
  • Must have a valid driver's license & car registration
  • This position requires the employee to use their personal vehicle
  • This position reports directly to the Food Service Director

On a day-to-day basis, the driver will pick up and drop off all necessary food, supplies, bank deposits, and paperwork within the district. The scheduled days and hours can be determined by the FSD according to vendor delivery days/times.


The position may also call upon the employee to help prepare foods, put away deliveries, and sweep and serve food if needed.


This position is a 10-month position, following the district calendar, and has the summer months off.
