Full Stack Developer (AU Client - Remote)

You will be required to assist in all aspects of software development across both frontend and backend systems, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below.

Managing the development and delivery of features across the full stack, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and database components, while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of the internal platform.

This will require you to liaise with stakeholders, product owners, and other developers to understand requirements, translate specifications into functional solutions, and contribute to building a structured, production-ready system. You will also be responsible for maintaining clean, well-documented code and ensuring alignment with development standards and best practices.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of internal platforms.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React).
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic (e.g., Node.js or similar).
• Work within structured architectures (API-first, modular systems) to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Design and manage database schemas and data flows.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including exposure to Microsoft ecosystem tools where applicable.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and improve technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Use version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and follow structured development workflows.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to documentation, system design, and handover processes.
• Perform ad hoc development and technical tasks as required.

You will be fully onboarded on the specific systems and requirements, and you will be responsible for managing your workload and delivering tasks within agreed timelines.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong full stack development experience across frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks, with React on the frontend preferred.
• Backend experience with APIs, services, and database design (e.g., Node.js or similar).
• Experience working with structured architectures (API-first, modular systems).
• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs (Microsoft ecosystem exposure is a plus).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub and structured development workflows.
• Ability to work within defined specifications and contribute to improving them.
• Strong understanding of building scalable, maintainable, and production-ready systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently within a structured environment.
