The Quality Engineer coordinates with divisional departments regarding quality issues and procedures. This position will respond to and track corrective action responses, investigate and resolve root cause of customer claims, and communicate with steel mills regarding material quality. This position will assist with quality audits and the selection of suppliers and customers. Additionally, this position will develop and implement standard operating procedures and maintain system documents. Finally, this position conducts capability studies and manages equipment calibration and inspection activities. Special projects will be assigned and the Quality Engineer will complete First Article and PPAP submissions.
