Your New Role

As a permanent, full-time, Park Ranger 2, you will perform and oversee a broad range of tasks to protect, maintain, operate, and repair state park lands, natural and cultural resources, structures, facilities, equipment, and systems. This work requires skills in building trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscape maintenance, as well as specialized program skills including resource interpretation, cultural and natural resource restoration, utility infrastructure operation, and park rule enforcement. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, communicates well, takes initiative, and contributes to a strong, supportive team. The work can be demanding, but it’s meaningful and rewarding, and you’ll see the difference you make for visitors and future generations. We believe good people make good parks. If you value responsibility, teamwork, and protecting special places, we’d love to hear from you.
