General Manager – Infrastructure / Civil Works

Job Purpose Lead the end-to-end delivery of all infrastructure and civil works , including roads, drainage, ROM pad, workshops, camps, plant foundations, and TSF civils, from FEED through commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities • Own the civil works program, budget, HSE, and quality outcomes from FEED through commissioning and handover. • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, surveyors, QS, and QA/QC professionals. • Manage EPC contractor and subcontractor interfaces; approve major variations, ITPs, and milestone certifications. • Liaise with PNG regulators. • Chair monthly project reviews and deliver executive reporting to the board. • Drive cost control, schedule integrity, and continuous improvement across the civil portfolio. Requirements Qualifications • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech / MBA preferred). • Chartered status (IEPNG / IEAust / FIE / PE) preferred. Experience • 15+ years on greenfield mining or heavy civil / EPC mega-projects. • Minimum 5 years at GM / Project Manager level. • Remote-site leadership essential
