Environmental Field / Project Manager

The Project Manager I, Field manages the day-to-day activities of field employees for planned projects and emergency response activities to ensure objectives are achieved.

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Manages JSA and/or HASP for each project
• Manages the day-to-day activities of field employees for planned projects and Emergency Response activities to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Develops work plans and coordinates with the Dispatcher Branch Manager in the allocation of manpower, equipment, and other resources needed.
• Performs job walks to ensure safety protocols are in place and being followed, provides training to field employees, and monitors the progress and quality of work.
• Plans proactive approaches to overcome challenges or issues that could arise throughout a project or emergency response action.
• Maintains equipment maintenance logs, including scheduling equipment repairs.
• Manage driver logs including pre & post trips.
• 80% travel
• Other reasonable directives, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

• High School Diploma or GED required, with prior field services or project coordination experience in the environmental or industrial services industry.
• Experience managing day-to-day field employee activities across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience organizing tasks and planning work.
• Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to emergency response and field services work.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; prior emergency response project experience preferred.

This role operates primarily in field and customer-site environments. Frequent physical activity is associated with job site walks and oversight of field crews. Personal protective equipment is required for field and emergency response operations.
