We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with strong technical judgement, people-management capabilities, and experience driving complex engineering initiatives.
You will lead an engineering team and help improve product delivery, system reliability, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires the ability to connect business priorities with long-term technical development, identify critical issues across the engineering organization, and drive continuous improvements in team capability, engineering practices, and delivery mechanisms.
You will also play a key role in major technical decisions, complex projects, and the continued development of the engineering organization.
Lead the day-to-day management of an engineering team, including goal setting, resource planning, team development, and capability building.
Contribute to engineering strategy and planning, translating business objectives into appropriate technical and organizational priorities.
Lead important engineering projects from requirements analysis and solution design through resource coordination, delivery, and post-launch improvement.
Participate in architecture design and technical reviews for core systems, identify key risks, and drive issues to resolution.
Continuously improve engineering processes, development standards, and quality mechanisms to enhance delivery efficiency and system reliability.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across product, AI, engineering, and other relevant teams to achieve complex goals.
Identify long-term issues within the technology stack and engineering organization, and promote reusable solutions and systematic improvements.
Remain closely involved in critical technical decisions and complex problem-solving, balancing delivery speed, technical quality, and long-term sustainability.
Build a strong talent pipeline through hiring, coaching, performance feedback, and the development of key team members.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Extensive software engineering experience, together with experience managing an engineering or technical team.
Proven experience leading the design, development, and delivery of complex systems or large-scale engineering projects.
Strong technical foundations and sound architectural judgement, with the ability to understand and challenge important technical decisions.
Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle, with a systematic view of engineering quality, delivery efficiency, system reliability, and development standards.
Deep practical experience in one or more areas such as backend engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, test automation, quality engineering, or engineering productivity.
Ability to identify engineering problems at both system and process levels, and drive solutions through technology, tools, operating mechanisms, and team collaboration.
Strong goal-setting, project-management, and cross-functional execution skills, with the ability to deliver results in complex environments.
Proven people-management and talent-development capabilities, with experience building stable and effective engineering teams.
Ability to balance business priorities, technical quality, system complexity, and long-term architectural evolution.
Strong communication skills, ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
Experience working with enterprise software, SaaS, AI-powered products, or other technically complex products.
Experience with data-intensive systems, automated testing frameworks, engineering quality systems, or internal engineering platforms.
Experience building an engineering team, technical system, or development practice from the ground up.
Experience with cross-team technical governance, engineering transformation, or organizational change.
A track record of combining strong people leadership with active involvement in core technical and architectural decisions.
