About the Role The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring efficient movement of finished goods, stock accuracy, and smooth coordination across supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely evacuation of finished goods to distribution centers to maintain continuous production flow. Oversee trailer availability for the movement of products to designated locations. Monitor and ensure timely return of empty containers to avoid production delays, escalating concerns early where shortages are expected. Execute all system transactions in real time, ensuring no backlog in shipment or transfer orders. Prepare and share accurate stock reports, distribution plans, and forecasts with relevant stakeholders. Maintain up-to-date records and trackers for performance reviews, distribution metrics, and stock movements. Enforce good manufacturing practices and workplace organization (5S), ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met. Track and report performance of platform activities and staff. Set job expectations, coach team members, and assign workloads based on staffing levels. Oversee cold storage facilities, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and liaising with maintenance teams for preventive servicing. Identify areas for process improvement and introduce innovative or refined work practices. Collaborate closely with production and distribution teams for seamless operations. Monitor staff attendance, manage overtime, and support monthly stock counts, variance analysis, and reconciliation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Ability to work independently with strong initiative and accountability. High integrity and results-driven mindset. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage change effectively. Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
