Responsibilities

→Clean and disinfect all areas within the facilities as needed.
→Transportation of samples and other items between the Clinic and Head Office locations.
→Transport, pick up or drop off clinic supplies and equipment to and from designated locations.
→Floor maintenance - sweep, mop, floor polish, auto-scrubber.
→Carpet maintenance - vacuum spot clean, and steam clean.
→Move furniture as required.
→Remove garbage and recycling waste to designated area for disposal.
→Maintain interior garden and pond.
→Maintain exterior grounds and perimeter of building for winter season, which includes operating snowblower and snow plow on the driveway and parking lot, manual snow and ice removal, salting, and picking up.
→Maintain the janitorial supply room.
→Assist with general building maintenance repairs, painting, inhouse services.
→Assist and escort Service Contractors.
→Other duties as required.

Requirements

Completion of High School.
Experience driving a snowplow.
Experience with such equipment as hand tools, auto scrubber, snake machine, floor polisher, lawnmower, snow blower and others.
Knowledge of general repairs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other clinical staff.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Valid G Class drivers’ license in good standing.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
