Our warehouse and operations teams keep customers happy, and the RMA Coordinator keeps them honest. You'll make sure returned product, vendor credits, and inventory transactions are handled accurately so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the full picture of returns, RMAs, and vendor credits
- →Inspect returned inventory and decide the right disposition for each item
- →Create and process vendor returns in our systems
- →Work with vendors and Purchasing to secure return authorizations (RGAs)
- →Pack and ship returned materials back to vendors
- →Follow up on open returns and credits until each one is resolved
- →Verify that vendor credits are correct, and chase down any discrepancies
- →Submit supporting documentation and keep clean, accurate records
- →Keep the returns staging area and filing system organized
- →Watch the reports for aging returns and take action before they stall
- →Pitch in on inventory counts, audits, and process improvement projects
- →Lend a hand in the warehouse during peak periods
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of warehouse, inventory, or returns processing experience (preferred)
- Experience with vendor returns, RMAs, inventory reconciliation, or similar work is a plus
- Comfort with inventory systems, scanners, and everyday computer applications
- A sharp eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- The ability to prioritize and see open items through to the end
- Confidence reading return documentation, packing slips, and related paperwork
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and also team up with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, vendors, and warehouse staff
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in a warehouse environment
