Power Integrations is seeking a hands-on Semiconductor Process Engineer to support wafer fabrication operations in our Class 100 cleanroom facility in our Ithaca, New York location.

Responsibilities

→Perform semiconductor wafer processing including cleaning, coating, lithography, deposition, etch, annealing, and inspection.
→Operate and maintain process equipment and perform tool calibrations.
→Execute Design of Experiments (DOE), analyze data, and document results.
→Support process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

BS in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field.
2+ years of semiconductor wafer fabrication or process engineering experience.
Experience with:
- Contact/stepper lithography
- E-beam evaporation and sputtering
- Lift-off processes
- RTP and furnace annealing
- ALD and PECVD (SiO₂, Si₃N₄)
- RIE/ICP etch processes

Standard hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Flexibility to support portions of the second shift as needed.
