- →Support the Workplace Safety Manager in executing site-level safety programs, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- →Conduct PIT, TDR and Yard training. Monitor and drive compliance in partnership with the operations team.
- →Conduct routine safety inspections and walkthroughs of the returns floor, identifying and escalating hazards proactively.
- →Assist with incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root cause analysis documentation.
- →Help coordinate and facilitate new hire safety orientations and ongoing associate safety training.
- →Maintain accurate safety records including inspection logs, training completion, OSHA 300 logs, and corrective action tracking.
- →Support ergonomic assessments and promote safe material handling practices across all departments.
- →Partner with Area Managers and Operations leadership to reinforce safety accountability on the floor.
- →Assist in the development and posting of safety communications, visual management boards, and site alerts.
- →Respond to first aid needs and help coordinate emergency response procedures as needed.
- →Perform additional duties as required to support a safe and compliant work environment.
- →Drive measurable improvements across site safety metrics (Physical Compliance Audits, Shift Safety Score, Audit timely completion, and Safety Observations)
Safety Coordinator
We’re looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our QRC1 returns team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day execution of our workplace safety programs, helping to build and sustain a culture where every associate goes home safe. Reporting to the Workplace Safety Manager, you will be a visible, trusted resource on the floor – conducting audits, supporting training, investigating incidents, and ensuring we remain in compliance with OSHA and company standards. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about safety and eager to grow within a fast-scaling operations environment.

- 2-3 years of experience in a safety, operations, or warehouse environment (internships and coursework welcome).
- OSHA 10 General Industry Certification
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety principles.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and communicate hazards clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage associates at all levels.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a returns center, fulfillment center, or high-volume warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with safety management systems or incident tracking tools.
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts (up to 10 hours) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Work in an environment where noise levels may vary and temperatures may fluctuate with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequently climb and descend stairs with or without reasonable accommodation.
All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
