Regal Boats is seeking a motivated Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation and control solutions within our FRP boat manufacturing operations. This role will collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to develop reliable automated systems that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety, and overall process performance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Bachelor's degree in ECE, Mechatronics, Automation, or an engineering-related field.
- →Preferred experience in designing and implementing automation systems, preferably in the marine or automotive industry.
- →Proficiency in programming languages for industry applications.
- →Familiarity with industry standards for automation and control systems.
- →Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- →Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- →CAD software experience, including Rhino and Solidworks.
- →Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, able to work cross-functionally with various teams.
- →Experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other Wi-Fi-enabled devices preferred.
- →Prior experience with FANUC robots is a plus.
- →Prior experience with boat manufacturing is a plus.
- →Conversational English.
Requirements

- Knowledge of Roboguide, PaintTool General Industry, and related systems.
- Must be a team player and work closely with other Regal team members
- Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to win

- Ability to multitask and work cross-functionally
- Team player mentality, but able to work independently as required
- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, and communication skills (written and oral)
- Energetic, proactive, and focused
- Proficient in Google G-Suite or Microsoft Office software suite
- Interest in automation as a Hobbyist
- Bilingual
