FullStack Developer (Next.js & Java) (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Developer / Tech Lead for a fast growing and profitable startup from Norway. This is a Fully Remote role.



About Client: A small fun, very profitable ecommerce startup with turnover of 70 and 80 million kroner. You will be working directly with the CTO and Founders.



Role: As a Tech Lead / Senior Developer, you will be able to control solution architecture and technology choices, and play a central role in how the company develops. Systems consist of a self-developed e-commerce platform to handle several thousand orders every day. It is very important to have a rock-solid, simple and stable solutions for our many customers and employees. You will be our only developer and therefore play a very central role in the company. You will work closely with the CTO to set new courses and develop new features. In addition, you get a really good group of colleagues in different disciplines.



Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in frontend development using Next.js and Node.js.
Strong understanding of microservice architecture and experience with Java backend development.
Experience with NGINX configuration and administration.
Familiarity with Unix-based systems and server management tools (systemd, ssh, bash scripting).
Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
Experience working with databases, including HSQLDB and sqlite3.
Familiarity with Next.js pages router and dynamic routing concepts.
Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
