The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the data, processes, reporting, and tools that support Renalogic’s commercial organization. This person will make our CRM a reliable source of information, coordinate the commercial forecasting process, and help teams work consistently from lead generation through sales and implementation.
The role reports to the Chief Growth Officer and works closely with the SVP of Sales. The SVP of Sales leads the sales team, manages pipeline performance, and owns the field-sales forecast. The Sales Operations Manager provides the structure, analysis, and operational support that enable those activities and support the Chief Growth Officer’s accountability for the consolidated commercial forecast.
- Own the day-to-day administration and quality of commercial data in Zoho CRM, including accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, and account ownership.
- Establish and maintain standards for required fields, opportunity stages, deal updates, account hierarchy, and pipeline hygiene.
- Identify stale, incomplete, or inconsistent records and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and client-facing teams to ensure commercial data is accurate and consistent across handoffs and reporting.
- Coordinate the commercial forecasting process by collecting inputs, maintaining the underlying data, consolidating results, and reporting changes against prior forecasts and actual performance.
- Provide the SVP of Sales with reliable field-sales pipeline and forecast reporting, and provide the Chief Growth Officer with the information needed to manage the consolidated commercial forecast.
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports on pipeline health, sales production, conversion, account activity, and other commercial performance measures.
- Analyze results by territory, seller, channel, partner, and product to help leadership identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Support commercial planning and budgeting with accurate data, clear assumptions, and timely reporting.
- Document, administer, and improve approved sales processes, including lead assignment, opportunity management, proposal and RFP coordination, and sales-to-implementation handoffs.
- Partner closely with the SVP of Sales to support consistent execution of sales initiatives, pipeline reviews, and team workflows.
- Maintain records of approved territory, account, lead, and quota assignments. Provide analysis to support leadership decisions about coverage and resource allocation.
- Work with Marketing to track lead sources, campaign results, and the conversion of qualified leads into sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with Finance and HR on sales incentive data, calculations, reporting, and implementation of approved plan changes.
- Partner with IT and other stakeholders to improve sales technology and implement approved changes.
- Ensure commercial policies and procedures are documented, accessible, and kept current.
- B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least five years’ experience successfully completing and owning sales operations tasks and responsibilities.
- At least three years’ direct experience working within a CRM to create reporting, analyze trends, and design/implement process change.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft applications.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly to sales leaders and other stakeholders.
- Experience working across departments to improve processes and resolve data issues.
- Strong working knowledge of self-funded health plans is strongly preferred.
- Zoho CRM experience or certifications strongly preferred.
- Reliable power and secured internet that runs at 11 mbps or more.
- A designated, private area to conduct work with minimal interruptions is required.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and navigate change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Ability and willingness to travel multiple times a year, which will include overnight stays for corporate gatherings, conferences, and health fairs.
- Ability to attend and professionally engage in video meetings with other employees and clients.
- Ability to overcome obstacles with a ‘yes if...’ approach.
- Ability to effectively balance competing deadlines without losing focus on the bigger picture.
