As a Lot Technician Driver, you are the driving force behind our dealership’s daily operational flow and customer transport experience. You will oversee moving, arranging, and detailing motorcycles across our lot and showroom, while safely transporting vehicles, parts, and equipment using company trucks and trailers. - Vehicle Movement & Showroom Management: Safely drive, move, and park motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles on the lot, in the showroom, and across service areas; maintain full awareness of the lot layout and assist in managing inventory flow.
- Customer Pickup & Delivery Services: Provide professional home pickup and delivery services for units directly to and from customers.
- Vehicle Check-In & Inspection: Assist with vehicle check-ins, thorough inspections upon delivery, and tagging customer units.
- Detailing & Customer Delivery Prep: Prepare units for customer delivery, including washing, dusting, detailing, and fueling to ensure vehicles are spotless for customer handoff.
- Sales & Service Logistics Support: Support the sales and service teams with unit movement, logistics, and general facility support tasks as needed.
- Lot Organization & Maintenance: Keep the lot, showroom, and service staging areas neat, clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Delivery Driving Experience: 1+ years of experience in delivery driving or vehicle transport.
- Age Requirement: Must be 25 years of age or older (required for company driving and insurance compliance).
- Valid License & Motorcycle Endorsement: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a required motorcycle endorsement.
- Riding & Maneuvering Skills: Demonstrated ability to ride and confidently maneuver motorcycles and powersports units, including manual transmissions.
- Physical & Pushing Capability: Must be able to safely push heavy motorcycles weighing up to 850 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical Active Conditions: Capability to stand for extended periods and perform active physical work outdoors across various weather conditions.
- Dealership Premises & Safety Awareness: Ability to safely and efficiently move through indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areas while maintaining constant awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
- Body Agility: Ability to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform vehicle prep, tie-downs, and maintenance tasks.
- Dependable & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, punctual, and able to follow directions while working as a team player.
- Loud & High-Energy Environment: Comfort working in a loud, dynamic, and high-energy environment with frequent exposure to motorcycle V-Twin engine noise, power equipment, and busy dealership operations.
