Within Roche’s Computational Sciences Center of Excellence, Scientific Computing provides the scalable computing platforms and infrastructure that enable researchers across pRED and gRED to accelerate data-driven science and AI/ML workloads.

The Software Engineer (Platform TechOps Lead) provides senior technical leadership for the operation, reliability, and lifecycle management of Scientific Computing platforms and services across AWS, hybrid infrastructure, and specialized scientific computing environments. The role leads complex L3 and selected L2 support, drives automation and operational improvements, and provides technical direction to junior engineers and contractors.
