As a Electrical Engineering Intern based at Rocket Lab’s site in Toronto, Canada, you will have the opportunity to support the Space Systems Division in bringing new reaction wheel and star tracker products to market as well as supporting implementation of new electronics design software. The Electrical Engineering team is responsible for the development, test and maintenance of all the flight electronics in our reaction wheel and star tracker products.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship

GPA of 3.0 or above

3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

GPA of 3.5 or above

6+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Hands on Experience working with hardware (Arduinos, raspberry pi)
-
Experience creating simple circuits and prototyping with a breadboard or break out board

Soldering experience

Python experience
-
Computer-aided design (CAD) experience

Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks beginning January 4, 2027
