Test Engineer - ISC Hydronics

Help shape the reliability and performance of hydronics products used in homes and buildings around the world. We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer – Hydronics to join our ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) Engineering team in Brno and take ownership of product testing across value engineering, component engineering, and sustaining engineering projects for our serial production in Brno. This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of products, collaborate with international teams, and turn test data into practical improvements for customers and manufacturing.

• Test Strategy & Execution: Define, plan, and execute robust test protocols for hydronics products, ensuring they meet specifications, quality requirements, and relevant standards.
• Project Support: Provide hands-on testing expertise for value engineering, component engineering, and sustaining engineering projects, helping improve product performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
• Validation & Verification: Lead validation activities for alternative materials and suppliers, quality issue resolution, production changes, and product customization requests.
• Technical Partnership: Work closely with quality, product management, production, sourcing, and engineering teams, providing clear, data-driven recommendations and root cause insights.
• Customer & Cross-Site Coordination: Act as a technical contact for customer-related testing requests and align testing requirements across Resideo Water Business sites to support consistent and efficient delivery.

• Previous hands-on experience in test engineering, validation engineering, or a closely related engineering role
• Solid understanding of mechatronic systems and the fundamental principles of hydronics or fluid dynamics
• Practical experience planning, conducting, documenting, and evaluating technical tests or documentations 
• Strong communication skills in Czech and English, both written and verbal

• Experience with hydronics products such as valves, actuators, controllers, or thermostatic radiator valve heads. 
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, particularly EN 215 for thermostatic radiator valves. 
• A structured approach to problem solving, root cause analysis, and evidence-based decision making. 
• A collaborative, open, and proactive approach when working across teams, functions, and locations. 

• Curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning in a varied engineering environment.
