Facilities Operations Manager

Role and Responsibilities

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in industrial operations, with at least 3+ years in a people management role.
•  Experience managing 24/7 industrial operations with a focus on high-availability/uptime KPIs.
• Experience managing a tiered leadership structure (Supervisors → Technicians).
• Proven ability to manage "change points" (transitioning systems from construction/commissioning to operations).
• Experience overseeing critical incident response (e.g., leak response, emergency system failures).
• Operational Expertise: Mastery of uptime/availability metrics and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Commissioning Knowledge: Ability to manage exhaust balancing and system commissioning within a live production environment.
• Change Point Management: Expert ability to hand over systems from construction teams to operational teams without production impact.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CMMS/EAM software for maintenance tracking.
• Cleanroom Experience: Prior experience in a cleanroom/semiconductor fab is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Ability to maintain composure and lead teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments; strong conflict resolution skills.

The current base salary range for this role is between $147,000 - $200,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
