SellCord is the largest Walmart-exclusive agency dedicated to helping sellers maximize their success on the Walmart platform. Our mission is to empower businesses with the tools, insights, and support they need to thrive in a competitive e-commerce landscape.

The AI Operations Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and deploying internal tools and AI-powered features, seamlessly integrating them into the company’s workflows. This role reports to the VP of Product and ensures internal tools are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship internal AI tools, agents, and automations.

• Integrate AI models and APIs with existing systems and data, and document each tool so others can use and extend it.

• Research emerging AI technologies and run quick experiments to recommend what's worth adopting.

• Evaluate tools for cost, security, data privacy, and reliability before rollout.

• Lead implementation and adoption of AI tools across teams, tracking time saved and usage.

• Maintain a prioritized backlog of AI opportunities, weighing effort against business impact.

• Train the team so non-technical teammates use AI confidently.

• Partner with teams to understand workflows and customer journeys, and translate technical work for leadership and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience, preferable in the tech industry or from an agency, including building with AI tools, models, or APIs.

• Strong understanding of user and customer experience and how the tools you build impact the business.

• Self-starter with strong communication skills who takes initiative without waiting for detailed direction.

• Curious, open-minded, and passionate about AI, always exploring new tools and ideas; no specific tech stack required.

• Experience developing AI skills and AI agents, ideally utilizing Claude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Product management experience, ideally after starting your career as a software developer.

• Agency background, with exposure to fast turnarounds and evolving priorities.
