Sentara RMH Medical Centers Family Birthplace includes 10 private bed L&D, and a 20 bed post-partum mother/baby. Our Level 2 newborn specialty care nursery has a 1 to 1 ratio while our intermediate care babies have a 1 to 3 nursing ratio. Our LDRP unit also offers post operative care for complex GYN and Breast surgical needs. This specialty area has a 100-member team cross trained to offer best in class healthcare to Harrisonburg, VA, and surrounding areas. The schedule is primarily 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holiday requirements. • Trade School Graduate of Surgical Technology or/ Licensed Practical nurse program.

• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred OR Licensed Practical Nurse

• BLS within 90 days of hire

• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Surgical Tech required

• 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred

• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols.

• Certified Surgical Tech preferred

• Procedural experience preferred
