As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your calls, solve challenging problems, and build lasting relationships with homeowners. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, giving you the support of a complete home services team behind every job.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.
- →Work on furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, and indoor air quality equipment.
- →Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, mechanical, hydronic, and combustion issues.
- →Perform maintenance, system testing, safety inspections, and equipment startups.
- →Explain diagnosed problems and recommend appropriate repair, maintenance, or replacement options.
- →Obtain customer approval before completing work and collect payment when appropriate.
- →Maintain accurate service notes, equipment records, and follow-up information.
- →Communicate parts, scheduling, and return-trip needs promptly to the office.
- →Maintain a clean vehicle, organized inventory, and professional work area.
- →Support apprentices and participate in required meetings and technical training.
- Previous residential HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, airflow, combustion, hydronic, and control systems.
- Ability to manage service calls independently from diagnosis through completion.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional judgment and respect for customers and their homes.
- Ability to maintain complete and timely electronic service documentation.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Active Connecticut S-1, S-2, D-1, D-2, B-1, or B-2 license preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
