Assistant Project Manager – Civil

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Assistant Project Manager – Civil in Oman. The requirement is for an experienced civil engineering professional with extensive exposure to hospital, commercial, and residential building projects. The successful candidate will support end-to-end project execution, planning, budgeting, coordination, and stakeholder management while ensuring projects meet required quality, cost, and schedule objectives. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale civil construction projects from initiation through completion. Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and construction milestones. Coordinate civil works across hospital, commercial, and residential building projects. Monitor site progress and identify schedule, resource, quality, and cost deviations. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable standards. Prepare project progress reports, forecasts, budgets, and management updates. Support project leadership in resolving technical and execution issues to achieve timely project delivery. Required Skills Civil Project Management — Strong experience managing complex building construction activities and project deliverables. Project Planning & Scheduling — Ability to develop, monitor, and control construction schedules and milestones. Budgeting & Cost Control — Experience monitoring project budgets, expenditure, forecasts, and cost performance. Building Construction — Extensive exposure to hospital, commercial, and residential projects. Stakeholder Management — Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams. Preferred Skills PMP certification. GCC construction project exposure. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder building projects. Work Experience Requirements Candidates must have 10–15 years of total civil/construction experience, including GCC experience. Extensive experience in hospital, commercial, and residential building projects is required, together with strong exposure to project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
