QA Engineer

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client, for the position of QA Engineer in Singapore. Our client is seeking qualified professionals with 3–5 years of manufacturing quality assurance experience, preferably in precision engineering, metal stamping, spring manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication or machining. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of manufacturing quality processes, inspection methods, dimensional accuracy and quality control documentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct incoming, in-process and final quality inspections of manufactured components. Verify product dimensions and tolerances against engineering drawings and specifications. Perform dimensional inspections using appropriate precision measuring instruments. Identify, document and report product non-conformities and manufacturing defects. Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing quality and reduce rejection rates. Maintain inspection reports, quality records and traceability documentation. Support internal quality audits, process improvements and customer quality requirements. Required Skills Manufacturing Quality Assurance: Practical knowledge of QA and QC activities in manufacturing environments. Precision Measurement: Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and height gauges. Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Understanding of dimensions, tolerances and technical specifications. Quality Problem Solving: Knowledge of defect investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Quality Documentation: Ability to maintain inspection records, non-conformance reports and quality documentation. Preferred Skills Experience with CMM inspection, GD&T and precision measurement techniques. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and internal audits. Knowledge of SPC, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis and 8D problem-solving methodologies. Work Experience Requirements Candidates must have 3–5 years of manufacturing quality assurance experience. Experience in precision engineering, metal stamping, spring manufacturing, sheet metal or machining is preferred.
