Role: AI Implementation Specialist
Priority Location: Latin America and South Africa
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM US ET (Monday – Friday)
Type of contract: Independent Contractor
Type of job: Remote
About the Company: Led by an established US-based entrepreneur with deep roots in telecommunications, the client's organization operates several fast-moving businesses alongside active new venture launches.
About the Role: Our client is hiring an AI Implementation Specialist to design, deploy, and maintain a centralized, “Jarvis-style” personal AI assistant that empowers the founder to manage multiple business lines from a single interface. Rather than training models from scratch, your core mission is to integrate existing state-of-the-art LLMs, pre-built agent libraries, voice interfaces, and business tools into a dependable, production-ready ecosystem. This role is built for a pragmatic builder who delivers working results quickly—delivering an initial working foundation in your first sessions and continuously iterating as the business grows. As our technical anchor, you will translate non-technical requirements into seamless automation, with the opportunity to eventually scale and lead an AI operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deploy and configure a centralized, local AI assistant on the founder's computer, establishing a functional working foundation within the first 1–2 hours of engagement.
-
Orchestrate and route queries across multiple top-tier LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, and open-source models) to automatically select and deliver the optimal output for any given task.
-
Integrate voice capabilities (speech-to-text and text-to-speech) and configure terminal-based autonomous coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) to allow hands-free task execution without manual copy-pasting.
-
Deploy, test, and maintain pre-built autonomous agents from established libraries, establishing reliable communication protocols between agents and the central assistant.
-
Connect external personal and operational platforms—including Google Calendar, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, telemarketing tools, and e-commerce workflows—to ensure end-to-end task automation.
-
Provide proactive maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across all integrations to guarantee consistent uptime and low-latency responses.
-
Communicate technical updates, architecture decisions, and operational trade-offs in plain, jargon-free English during regular 1-on-1 strategy sessions with the founder.
Qualifications:
-
Proven track record implementing, configuring, and maintaining integrated AI systems using existing models, agents, and external APIs (Required).
-
Hands-on experience connecting and orchestrating multiple LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, open-source models) in a multi-model environment (Required).
-
Demonstrated experience deploying pre-built AI agents from existing libraries and configuring inter-agent communication (Required).
-
Proven background integrating AI assistants with third-party software and tools such as calendars, communication platforms (e.g., WhatsApp), and social media channels (Required).
-
Strong working knowledge of the hardware, local runtime environments, and software dependencies required to host an executive AI assistant (Required).
-
Demonstrated history of delivering rapid, functional prototypes with verifiable portfolio examples of previous implementations (Required).
-
Fluent spoken and written English, with an exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and simply to non-technical stakeholders (Required).
-
Prior experience architecting and deploying a unified, "Jarvis-style" personal AI assistant setup (Preferred).
-
Hands-on experience setting up interactive voice interfaces (STT/TTS) for low-latency conversational AI (Preferred).
-
Practical experience configuring and executing terminal-based coding agents such as Claude Code (Preferred).
-
Experience designing multi-business or multi-division AI workflows managed under a single centralized assistant (Preferred).
