Our client is a fast-growing fintech SaaS company building a decision intelligence platform for independent wealth management firms and financial advisors. We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help scale the core infrastructure powering a production platform used by financial advisors and wealth management firms.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services and integrations with financial systems, while ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, and highly available. You'll work closely with Product, Frontend, Platform, and AI teams to build reliable backend architecture that supports the company's continued growth.

• →Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Django.
• →Build and maintain integrations with custodial platforms, CRMs, and financial data providers.
• →Design secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• →Optimize PostgreSQL databases and caching solutions such as Redis.
• →Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• →Build monitoring dashboards and implement proactive issue detection.
• →Collaborate with Frontend, Platform, and AI teams on system architecture and feature development.
• →Contribute to backend best practices and engineering standards.

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Django.
• 2+ years designing and building RESTful APIs.
• 2+ years working with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis or Elasticsearch.
• Experience building products serving 1,000+ users or companies.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture and API development.

• Experience with Kibana, Grafana, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with Confluence or Notion for technical documentation.
• Previous experience working in a product-focused SaaS company rather than consulting or agency environments.
• Experience within fintech or financial services technology.
