Type: Full-time (50-60 hours per week)
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager / Technical Lead to lead our 10 person software engineering team. In this role, you will drive the development of our AI-powered training platform by designing scalable architecture, managing the full development lifecycle, and guiding a talented team of full-stack engineers (Node.js/Angular), QA, AI specialists, and a designer. You’ll be responsible for assigning tasks and managing our Agile process (using JIRA), reviewing and merging code, and pushing the engineering team to deliver quality software at startup speed. As a hands-on leader, you will also contribute code yourself and set a high bar for technical excellence. Importantly, this role will champion an “AI-first” development culture – leveraging tools like Cursor and other AI coding assistants to boost the team’s productivity (our goal is to ship code 3x faster with AI!). This position reports directly to the Founder and Head of Product, and we need someone with a relentless work ethic, fluent English communication skills, and a passion for building something awesome and impactful from the ground up.
We are an AI-powered training and upskilling platform built for the modern workforce. We help companies transform existing documentation, policies, and product knowledge into structured, personalized learning paths in minutes — using just a file upload or prompt. Our platform auto-generates complete training programs with quizzes, progress tracking, SCORM export, and LMS integrations, making it easy for L&D teams, sales enablement managers, and HR leaders to onboard, upskill, and certify employees faster. We’re a fast-growing, founder-led SaaS startup with global ambitions, based in Austin, Texas.
