Reports to: Owner / General Manager Growth Path: Production Manager
We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based bathroom remodeling franchise specializing in premium, one-to-two-day bath and shower renovations — tub-to-shower conversions, walk-in tubs, and accessibility-focused remodels. A large share of our customers are homeowners 55+ who value a clean, low-disruption process and a company that does exactly what it promised. We operate a one-call-close, in-home sales model and are scaling quickly, with monthly revenue growing several-fold over the past year. This is a hands-on, high-momentum environment where the right person will help us turn that growth into a repeatable, well-run production process.
About the Role
~1 min readThis role exists because our owner currently performs every post-sale measure appointment personally — a bottleneck that limits how fast we can grow. We need a customer-facing coordinator who becomes the trusted second point of contact after a sale is closed: someone who walks back into the home, confirms what was sold matches what can actually be built, and reassures the customer they made the right decision. You are not a salesperson and you are not an installer. You are the bridge between the sale and the build, and the person who protects both the customer experience and the accuracy of the job before it hits production.
Responsibilities
~2 min readMeasure & Feasibility
- →Conduct in-home measure appointments after each closed sale
- →Take precise field measurements using tape, laser measure, and mobile measuring apps
- →Audit the sold scope of work against actual site conditions and flag any mismatch, access issue, or feasibility concern before the job is scheduled
- →Photograph and document existing conditions for the job file and install team
- →Confirm final material, color, and finish selections with the customer at the measure
- →Identify likely change orders early and communicate scope or pricing implications back to the owner/sales
Customer Relationship
- →Serve as the reassuring, professional second face-to-face touchpoint with the homeowner
- →Answer questions, set clear expectations on timeline, process, and what to expect on install day
- →Keep the customer confident and informed through the pre-install window
- →Represent the company's standard of respect for the customer's home; leave every home clean and the customer at ease
- →Reinforce the review/referral ask at the right moments to support the company's online reputation
Production Coordination
- →Hand off clean, complete, accurate job packages to installation
- →Confirm site readiness ahead of install (access, parking, water shut-off, staging space)
- →Flag permit requirements and help coordinate any that apply
- →Communicate install dates and lead times, and serve as the liaison between sales, customer, and install crews
- →Maintain organized job records and status in the CRM
- →Support post-install quality walkthroughs, punch lists, and customer sign-off; escalate warranty or service items
- →Over time, take on scheduling and light production management as the role expands
Requirements
~1 min read- Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, trustworthy in-person presence, especially with an older demographic
- Comfortable driving to multiple homes daily across the Columbus metro
- Detail-oriented; able to catch discrepancies between what was promised and what's feasible
- Comfortable with a tablet/smartphone, CRM, and basic measuring apps
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-changing small-business environment
- Able to move within tight spaces, kneel, and occasionally lift light materials during site visits
- Willing to complete a background check (in-home role serving older clients)
- Prior experience in home improvement, remodeling, in-home services, or field coordination
- General familiarity with bathroom/remodeling terminology and the ability to read a basic layout (no plumbing or installation trade skills required)
- Experience acting as a customer liaison or account/project point of contact
- Exposure to scheduling, permitting, or subcontractor coordination
You are personable, organized, and dependable. You put homeowners at ease and can read a room. You notice details others miss. You're not looking to sell or swing a hammer — you're the person who makes sure the job is right and the customer feels taken care of. You want to grow into running production as the business scales.
