About the Role: Bring role in-house. Focus on FP&A and commissions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead quarterly and annual financial forecasting and plan-setting
• Maintain and update financial models based on company performance, growth plans, and changing business needs
• Partner with leadership to refine budgets and forecasts throughout the year

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Perform monthly updates to financial models using actual results
• Prepare budget vs. actual analyses and explain key variances
• Build and maintain portfolio-wide summary financial metrics and dashboards
• Produce monthly financial reporting and conduct deep dives into key areas of interest (e.g., revenue, margins, costs, growth drivers)

Performance & Metrics

• Analyze and improve financial and operational metrics across portfolio companies
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
• Standardize metrics and reporting across companies where appropriate

Sales Compensation & Revenue Operations

• Build and maintain sales compensation models
• Calculate and validate sales commissions accurately and on schedule
• Support revenue analysis related to pricing, bookings, and customer growth

Billing, Procurement & Systems Support

• Set up and maintain customers in the billing system
• Support invoicing processes and ensure accurate billing data
• Manage and maintain procurement systems used for customer invoicing and related workflows

 

Qualifications:

 

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role
• Experience supporting multiple business units or companies preferred
• Strong financial modeling and Excel / spreadsheet skills
• Comfort working with accounting systems, billing platforms, and financial tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

 

Nice to have: 

 

• Experience in SaaS or software businesses
• Exposure to sales compensation or revenue operations
• Experience building dashboards and standardized financial reporting
• Prior experience in a holding company, PE-backed, or multi-entity environment
