We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications across the entire technology stack. This is a hands-on role with direct impact on a high-usage web platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, performant, and reliable solutions, from responsive user interfaces to robust backend systems and optimized databases.
Responsibilities

Implement, expand, and improve an existing high-usage web platform

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and React
- →
Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations
- →
Write efficient, optimized MySQL queries and manage database performance in production environments

Follow best practices to maintain and improve scalability, performance, security, accessibility, and internal coding standards

Develop, maintain, and enforce unit tests to ensure platform robustness and reliability

Triage, investigate, and resolve production and technical support issues, including root cause analysis and proposing long-term solutions

Advocate for strong user experience (UX) by influencing product and design decisions based on technical feasibility and user-centric principles

Ensure high-quality code delivery through code reviews, thorough testing, and peer collaboration

Take ownership of delivering high-quality software that drives business value

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features
Requirements

5+ years of professional experience with PHP, Laravel framework. JavaScript, React, CSS, and HTML.

High proficiency in JavaScript/React and PHP, with a focus on clean, maintainable code

Extensive experience with MySQL, including advanced filtering, joins, grouping, sorting, and query optimization for production workloads

Experience crafting performant queries in relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL

Expert-level proficiency in building CRUD applications using RESTful API design principles
-
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
-
Solid foundation in enterprise web application design, architecture, and development
-
Proficiency with Git for version control, including branching, merging, and commit best practices
-
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with Engineering and Customer Support teams

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience working on SaaS platforms, e-commerce products, or platforms such as Shopify or BigCommerce
