Position : Full Stack Developer / Front End

Work Hours (Client) : M - F, 9 am - 5 pm CST

Pay Range :  3,000 - 4,000 (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD

Job Overview

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining both front-end interfaces and back-end components of our web applications. This role demands a versatile engineer with a strong grasp of both client-side and server-side technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet the needs of our users and drive the success of our products

Responsibilities:

● Front-end web development

o Work with design teams to translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality

code to produce intuitive and visually appealing React.js and TypeScript user interfaces

o Develop and maintain all aspects of our web applications, ensuring high performance

and seamless integration with our backend.

o Develop efficient, reusable components for future use

● Back-end web development

o Database design, RESTful APIs, authentication, authorization

● Architect and implement scalable data processing infrastructure using AWS services

● Build infrastructure as code with AWS CDK

● Identify, record, document, and track bugs, collaborate with development teams for resolution,

and consistently collaborate with fellow engineers.

● Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to understand

requirements and provide updates on progress.

● Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components (i.e. AWS components

within the application layer).

● Write clean, well-documented code following industry-standard coding conventions and best

practices.

● Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code

quality and consistency.

● Implement a client-side data management and state management using libraries like Redux or

context API.

 

Requirements:

● Must have 3-5 years of experience in full-stack development

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline

● Tools:

● Non-negotiables:

● Web technologies: TypeScript, React, HTML & CSS

● Backend languages: Python, Node.js

● Core AWS services (compute, storage, database, etc)

● AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)

● Relational databases (Postgres/Redshift) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB)

● Big data systems (Spark)

● Version control (Github), and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack)

● DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

● Can be flexible:

● AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)

● Containerization technologies such as Docker

● AI/ML tooling and systems

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and teamwork skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the start-up culture

 

Nice to have:

● A good eye for aesthetics and user experience trends and principles
