We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team for an exciting project: developing a comprehensive medical inventory management system. This role involves cloning and enhancing an existing inventory platform while integrating basic AI capabilities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

The primary objective is to build a robust medical inventory management system that handles the complete lifecycle of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals. The system will be a feature-rich CRUD application with AI-enhanced functionality for predictive analytics, automated reordering, and intelligent inventory insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a full-stack medical inventory management system from the ground up
  • Clone and improve upon existing inventory system functionality while maintaining feature parity
  • Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces for inventory tracking, ordering, and reporting
  • Develop secure RESTful APIs for seamless data management and third-party integrations
  • Implement comprehensive CRUD operations for managing products, suppliers, orders, and stock levels
  • Ensure data integrity and implement robust validation across all system layers
  • Integrate AI features for inventory optimization and demand forecasting
  • Implement intelligent alerts for low stock levels and expiration date tracking
  • Develop machine learning models for predictive reordering based on usage patterns
  • Create AI-powered reporting and analytics dashboards
  • Build smart search and filtering capabilities using natural language processing
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and e2e testing)
  • Ensure application security, including HIPAA compliance considerations
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand existing system workflows
  • Collaborate with the product team to refine requirements and prioritize features
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical team members
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements

  • Frontend: Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
  • Backend: Strong experience with server-side technologies (Node.js, Python/Django, or similar)
  • Database: Solid understanding of both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
  • API Development: Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest, Cypress, etc.)
  • 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Demonstrated experience building CRUD applications from scratch
  • Portfolio of completed projects showcasing full-stack capabilities
  • Experience with healthcare or inventory management systems is a plus

Nice to Have
