Reports to: Supervising CPA, Client Accounting Services
We are a specialized consulting and accounting firm that supports agencies serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and other special needs. For these agencies, we handle the detailed administrative, fiscal, and accounting work — accounting, bookkeeping, revenue cycle management, cost reports, budgets, reimbursement analysis, waiver requests, and state reporting — so their clients can focus on delivering quality care.
This role sits within our Client Accounting Services team — the group that maintains the day-to-day books for these agency clients.
About the Role
~1 min readWe are a growing the Client Accounting Services practice and hiring an accountant to own the ongoing books for a portfolio of client agencies. You will work directly under a CPA and, because these are client-facing engagements, you will have regular exposure to the clients themselves — so clear communication and a professional presence matter as much as technical accuracy.
This is not a data-entry seat. You are the person who keeps each client's financials clean, current, and audit-ready month over month, and who can explain what the numbers mean. The role rewards someone who takes ownership, catches issues before they become problems, and can be trusted to run their book of clients with limited hand-holding.
