As customer volume and operational complexity increase, the business needs a highly capable Operations Assistant who can support both customer-facing and internal operational functions.
This role exists to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience while helping the company identify inefficiencies, improve processes, and build stronger operational foundations for future growth. The ideal candidate will be someone who thinks beyond task completion and actively looks for ways to make the business run better.
About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support both customer operations and broader business initiatives.
This is not a traditional customer support role. While customer communication will be an important part of the position, we are ultimately looking for someone who can think critically, solve problems independently, and contribute to operational improvements across the business.
You will work closely with leadership and gain exposure to multiple areas of the company, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills, take on increasing responsibility, and grow within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities

- Assist customers with returns, warranties, shipping inquiries, order issues, and product-related questions
- Handle unique customer situations using sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with company values
- Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of communication
- Support day-to-day operational initiatives across the business
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional operational tasks
- Collaborate with leadership and team members on business priorities
- Maintain and improve internal documentation, SOPs, and workflows
- Support operational processes that improve efficiency and scalability
- Identify recurring issues and recommend practical solutions
- Proactively suggest workflow and process improvements
- Analyze operational challenges and contribute ideas for optimization
- Help create systems that improve both customer experience and internal efficiency
- Take ownership of projects and follow through to completion
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make sound decisions in unfamiliar situations
