As the company continues to grow, customer volume and operational complexity continue to increase. To support this growth, we are building our first dedicated team focused on supporting customers and operations during U.S. business hours. This role represents a unique opportunity to be among the first team members hired specifically to support the company’s next stage of growth in the U.S. market.
Beyond supporting customers, this role will play an important part in identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, maintaining operational standards, and helping build the systems required to support future growth.

About the Role

As an Operations Specialist, you will serve as a key member of the company's U.S. operations team. Your responsibilities will span customer operations, process improvement, and day-to-day business operations.
You will work closely with leadership and gain exposure to multiple areas of the company, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills, take on increasing responsibility, and grow within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Success in this role requires strong judgment, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems independently. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks critically, and can be trusted to make sound decisions in unfamiliar situations.
 

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries via email in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, including technical and product questions, and provide clear, accurate solutions.
  • Assist customers with returns, warranties, shipping inquiries, order issues, and product-related questions
  • Handle unique customer situations using sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with company values
  • Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of communication
 
  • Support day-to-day operational initiatives across the business
  • Assist with special projects and cross-functional operational tasks
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members on business priorities
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation, SOPs, and workflows
  • Support operational processes that improve efficiency and scalability
 
  • Identify recurring customer and operational issues and recommend practical solutions
  • Proactively suggest workflow, process, and SOP improvements
  • Analyze operational challenges and contribute ideas for optimization
  • Help to build and refine systems that improve both customer experience and internal efficiency
 
  • Look for opportunities to reduce manual work through better processes, documentation, AI tools, and automation
  • Take ownership of projects and follow through to completion
 
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable using modern AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude) as part of day-to-day problem-solving, research, and operational work
  • Ability to make sound decisions in unfamiliar situations
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Full-time availability aligned with U.S. business hours

  • Experience in e-commerce, online retail, or customer operations
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing company
  • Experience improving workflows, SOPs, or operational processes
  • Experience with Shopify and logistics/3PL platforms
  • Experience in troubleshooting consumer electronics
  • Familiarity with remote work environments and distributed teams
  • Experience handling customer service or operational support functions
