Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a versatile Policy Analyst / Operations Specialist who can seamlessly blend analytical thinking with strong operational execution. This role supports leadership across policy research, operational coordination, project management, and executive support.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys switching between deep-dive policy work and hands-on operational tasks—someone who brings structure, clarity, and follow-through to a fast-moving team while also supporting the organization’s understanding of key U.S. education policy developments.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Conduct first-pass reviews of legislation, policy documents, and regulatory updates related to the U.S. education landscape.
- Summarize key insights, implications, and recommended actions.
- Track relevant policy changes and help leadership stay informed.
- Prepare briefs and policy summaries as needed.
- Maintain and organize operational workflows, documentation, and processes—primarily using Notion as the team's central hub.
- Track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across teams.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and ensure follow-through on action items.
- Assist with preparing internal reports, dashboards, and updates for leadership.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate across multiple time zones.
- Draft and manage email communications and follow-ups.
- Provide organizational support for day-to-day administrative needs.
- Join meetings as needed to represent leadership, capture notes, and drive next steps.
- Support communication with external partners and stakeholders (mostly async; occasional calls as needed).
- Prepare summaries, agendas, and documentation to support efficient collaboration.
Minimum Requirements:
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Industry: Education industry ideal
