About the Client
The client is a growing lifestyle and design label in the premium dog products segment, focusing on aesthetics, sustainability, and quality. Based in Germany, they are launching their first collection of high-quality dog accessories in the US and Germany.
After finalizing initial product development, the focus has shifted to market entry, digital growth, and customer retention. We are looking for a hands-on, growth-oriented professional to lead our D2C execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Shopify Management: Take full ownership of the Shopify store, including hands-on management, catalog updates, app integrations, and site optimization to improve conversion rates (CRO).
- CRM & Lifecycle Marketing: Lead the CRM strategy using Klaviyo. Design, implement, and optimize automated email flows, customer journeys, and newsletters to drive retention and LTV.
- D2C Growth Execution: Coordinate and execute launch campaigns for the US and German markets, ensuring all digital touchpoints are aligned with the brand's premium positioning.
- Performance Oversight: Manage and collaborate with the freelancer team (designers, media buyers) to ensure marketing campaigns and product launches are executed on time and within budget.
- Operational Alignment: Work directly with the co-founder to translate strategic priorities into actionable growth experiments and operational workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years in E-commerce or Digital Marketing, specifically for D2C brands (experience in pet accessories or premium lifestyle goods is a plus).
- Advanced, hands-on experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is mandatory. You should be comfortable building flows and managing a store's backend.
- Strong understanding of D2C metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, Conversion Rate) and customer journey optimization.
- Communication: C1-level English (written and spoken). German is a significant plus given the company base and upcoming DE launch.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and freelancers in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Valid passport and availability to travel to Germany for team collaborations when needed.
