About the Role

The Recruitment Specialist will support the People and Talent team by driving recruitment initiatives and sourcing high-caliber talent. This role involves partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to identify hiring needs, manage the full recruiting lifecycle (sourcing, scheduling, debriefs, and offers), and ensure a positive experience for all candidates. The ideal candidate understands state hiring laws and communicates effectively.Essential Job Functions

  • Operate within our mission-driven culture.
  • Conduct intake calls with hiring managers and business leaders to create requisitions.
  • Post requisitions and manage the flow of applications.
  • Source candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Schedule HR screens, technical interviews, and panel interviews.
  • Maintain a highly organized hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Understand direct business units' hiring needs and team dynamics.
  • Stay updated on best hiring practices.
  • Support onboarding tasks to ensure new hire readiness and success.
  • Travel to various locations as needed (up to 20%).

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting with sourcing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Understanding of state compliance requirements for hiring throughout the US.
  • Ability to conduct debriefs and manage the offer process.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple requisitions, candidates, and scheduling requirements simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience with BambooHR.
  • Experience in agriculture, water treatment, or science-based recruitment.
  • Experience conducting new hire orientations or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Recruiter Lite, HireEZ, Seek Out, or related tools.
