What We Offer
~1 min readOur client is a fast-growing Legal Technology (LegalTech) SaaS company helping businesses, agencies, publishers, and legal professionals instantly detect potential copyright infringement using advanced AI technology.
Their platform enables organizations to identify unauthorized use of copyrighted content quickly and accurately, helping clients reduce legal risk, protect intellectual property, and confidently manage digital assets.
Having built the business through a highly successful founder-led sales model, the company is now entering its next stage of growth. With their first dedicated SDR joining the team, they are looking for a highly organized commercial professional to support the founders throughout the sales process, ensuring every opportunity receives a world-class buying experience.
This is not a traditional Sales Assistant or Executive Assistant role.
Instead, you will become a trusted commercial partner to the founders, helping manage the customer journey from initial qualification through to successful deal progression.
As inbound and outbound meeting volume increases, you will work alongside the founders during customer meetings, coordinate sales activities, own post-meeting follow-up, maintain CRM accuracy, and ensure opportunities continue progressing through the sales pipeline.
This role combines elements of commercial operations, customer engagement, partnerships, sales coordination, customer success, and founder enablement.
Success in this role requires someone who naturally takes ownership, identifies what needs doing before being asked, and enjoys operating in an entrepreneurial startup where priorities evolve quickly. You'll become an extension of the founders, ensuring opportunities continue moving forward without requiring constant oversight.

- Proactively identify stalled opportunities and drive next steps without waiting for direction.
- Join customer discovery calls and product demonstrations alongside the founders.
- Present professionally while helping facilitate productive customer conversations.
- Build trusted relationships with prospective customers throughout the buying journey.
- Respond promptly to customer questions and coordinate internal responses where required.
- Become a reliable point of contact throughout the sales process while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Coordinate proposals, commercial documentation, contracts, customer onboarding preparation, and internal handoffs.
- Manage sales administration while maintaining a commercial mindset rather than an administrative one.
- Track pipeline health, sales metrics, and customer engagement.
- Identify bottlenecks within the sales process and proactively recommend improvements.
- Help build scalable commercial processes as the company grows.
- Leverage AI tools, particularly Claude, to assist with customer research, meeting preparation, drafting follow-up communications, summarizing meetings, and improving internal workflows.
- Work closely with the founders, SDR, marketing, and product teams.
- Capture customer feedback to improve messaging, positioning, and product development.
- Help create repeatable commercial processes that support long-term company growth.
- 3+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Coordination, Customer Success, Partnerships, Account Management, or B2B SaaS sales support.
- Experience working directly alongside founders, executives, or senior leadership.
- Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot preferred).
- Experience using Lemlist, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar outbound sales engagement platforms.
- Strong experience managing sales pipelines and customer follow-up.
- Comfortable participating in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and commercial presentations.
- Experience leveraging AI productivity tools, particularly Claude, to improve communication, research, workflow efficiency, and sales execution.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills (native or near-native level).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
You communicate confidently with senior decision-makers and represent the business professionally during customer interactions.
You naturally think about how opportunities move through the sales process and proactively remove obstacles that could slow momentum.
You enjoy building trust with prospective customers and developing long-term business relationships.
You excel at managing multiple priorities, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
You don't wait to be told what to do. You proactively identify gaps, solve problems independently, follow through relentlessly, and consistently look for ways to improve how the commercial function operates.
You embrace new technology quickly, enjoy figuring things out, and use modern tools—including AI—to work smarter and move faster.
You enjoy wearing multiple hats and working in an entrepreneurial environment.
You're equally comfortable joining a customer call, updating a CRM, coordinating next steps, improving internal processes, or helping prepare commercial documentation.
You're comfortable making decisions without constant direction. If something falls outside a documented process, you use sound judgment, ask thoughtful questions when necessary, and take ownership until it's resolved.
You understand that delivering an exceptional buying experience is often the difference between winning and losing business.
Most importantly, you're looking for a long-term opportunity where you can grow alongside an ambitious SaaS company.
This hire will become a critical extension of the founders' commercial efforts.
As the company scales its outbound and inbound sales engine, you'll ensure every opportunity receives exceptional attention while allowing the founders to focus on high-value commercial conversations and strategic growth.
This is one of the first commercial hires beyond the founders and represents a unique opportunity to help shape how the business scales. You'll play a key role in building repeatable commercial processes, improving customer experience, increasing sales efficiency, and helping drive the company's continued growth.
