Our client is a weekly food and retail event featuring over 60 local vendors. Their mission is to highlight the city’s best small businesses and culinary creativity. They’re looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded professional to bring their experience to life online.
About the Role
The Video Editor & Community Manager will produce engaging short-form video content and manage the brand’s social media community across Instagram (primary), TikTok, and Facebook. Working closely with the Marketing Lead, this role will grow brand awareness, showcase vendor stories, and maintain a consistent and engaging digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce 3–5 short-form videos weekly tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Create engaging content that reflects the brand’s vibrant atmosphere and vendor community.
- Use CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar tools to produce quick, high-quality edits.
- Manage comments, DMs, and community interactions on Instagram and other platforms.
- Track engagement metrics and report monthly with actionable content recommendations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain a content calendar.
- Assist in influencer/vendor collaborations by creating content and supporting communications.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Work independently with minimal guidance while delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in video editing and social media management.
- Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of short-form content trends (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Excellent written communication and community engagement skills.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries professionally.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Passion for food, local culture, and storytelling is a plus.
- Experience with social media analytics tools is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
