Role: Tax Operations Coordinator

Priority Location: Philippines | LatAM | South Africa

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Salary Range: $900 - 1500 per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

About the Role: Our client, operating in the tax and accounting space, is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Support to take ownership of client communication, documentation, and workflow management.

This role is critical as the owner splits focus between an established accounting firm and a new plumbing/HVAC franchise. The ideal candidate will act as a central liaison, ensuring client requests, documentation, and internal processes move efficiently and without delays.

The primary function of this role is to manage end-to-end client workflows, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination between clients and internal team members.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively follow up with clients for missing documents and information via phone, email, and text
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client communication and updates
  • Coordinate with internal staff (bookkeepers, tax preparers) to gather required information
  • Maintain accurate, real-time records in TaxDome
  • Upload and organize client documents in ProConnect tax software
  • Assist with light bookkeeping tasks as needed (QuickBooks)
  • Document and maintain internal SOPs within TaxDome (tax prep, bookkeeping workflows, etc.)
  • Handle administrative tasks such as:
    • Sending completed tax returns to clients
    • Rescheduling meetings
    • Managing client status updates
       

Qualifications:
 

  • 2–5 years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting,or Tax Support role
  • Experience with QuickBooks (Required) and ProConnect
  • Strong client communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized with a process-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple client workflows simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Finance specialists who thrive in client-facing, process-driven roles
  • Bookkeepers with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professionals exposed with TaxDome looking for ownership and autonomy
  • Early-career candidates (2–5 years) who are eager to grow and take initiative
